Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes will be hosting a series of community safety forums across the city this summer as part of the Creating a Safer Seattle initiative.
The Creating a Safer Seattle Community Forum (for D1) will occur on Wednesday, August 13 from 6-7:30 pm at the Delridge Community Center at 4501 Delridge Way SW.
These meetings are designed to engage residents in conversations about public safety, share updates on the One Seattle Restoration Framework, and gather feedback from neighborhoods.
Barnes was just confirmed as Chief this week.
Here are the other two confirmed locations:

District 2: Rainier Community Center Thursday, July 10 6:00–7:30 PM

District 4: Magnuson Community Center Monday, July 15 6:00–7:30 PM
There will be seven forums total, one in each council district, with more dates and venues to be announced soon. Seating is limited, so RSVPs are encouraged through the city’s registration portal
