PacWest prevails against all comers

PacWest plastered everyone in its path on its way to prevailing in the District 7 Little League baseball age 8-10 all-star tournament.
The team from Burien and SeaTac won all four of its games on the 10-run or more mercy rule to earn its way to the state tournament that gets underway Saturday, July 8 in Aberdeen.
The District 7 tournament ended with a championship win Thursday at the Bar-S complex in West Seattle. The championship was originally scheduled for Friday but was changed when a team dropped out of the tournament before it started.
PacWest was managed by Blake Bennett, who was assisted by coaches Oudom Tep and Dan Powers.
PacWest players are Christopher Abel, Landon Bennett, Layne Bennett, Quincey Brown, Quincy Eastman, Hawke Hansen, Raiden Hang, Ryan Loiselle, Jayden Loke, Tycean Martin, Dylan Powers, Ronan Rasmussen, Devin Tep and Nicholas Thesenvitz.
The PacWest league president is Mitch Stone.
