Be prepared to travel if you want to follow the area's South Puget Sound League Class 2A teams -- Highline, Evergreen and Foster.
Highline and Evergreen are split between the Sound and Mountain Divisions even though they are both in the Highline School District.
Highline is in the Sound Division, while Evergreen is in the Mountain Division along with nearby Foster.
Tyee is in the Sound Division for most sports but does not field its own football team. Instead the Totems combine with Mount Rainier of the 4A North Puget Sound League.
Highline and Evergreen will not meet unless it is in a playoff or crossover game after the regular season. They met in a non-playoff crossover last fall.
Non-league games await this Friday.
Evergreen entertains Chief Sealth in a 7 p.m. game at Highline Memorial and Foster hosts Ingraham at the same time as Highline journeys to Nathan Hale.
SPSL play opens Friday, Sept. 8.
Foster hosts Evergreen at 7 p.m. and Highline entertains Eatonville at 5 p.m.
The Pirates of Highline go all the way to W.F. West of Chehalis for a 7 p.m. non-league game Friday, Sept. 15 as Foster visits White River of Buckley and Evergreen drops in on Washington at Franklin Pierce Stadium in Parkland in SPSL play.
Highline Memorial hosts a double-header Friday, Sept. 22 with Highline playing Orting at 5 p.m. and Evergreen playing Foss at 8 p.m.
Foster hosts Washington at 7 p.m. that day.
Evergreen gets a 5 p.m. visit from Lindbergh on Friday, Sept. 29 and Foster goes to Mount Tahoma's stadium in Tacoma to play Foss at 7 p.m.
Highline journeys to River Ridge of Lacey to battle River Ridge at 7 p.m. that day.
Evergreen plays a 7 p.m. home game against Franklin Pierce on Friday, Oct. 6 as Foster entertains Lindbergh and Highline goes to Clover Park of Lakewood.
Highline hosts Steilacoom at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 and Foster goes to Franklin Pierce and Evergreen to Fife at 7 p.m.
Highline gets an 8 p.m. visit from Renton on Friday, Oct. 20 and Foster entertains Fife at 7 p.m. as Evergreen travels to White River.
Playoffs and crossovers await the week of Friday, Oct. 27.
