Harriette Anne Fredenburg passed away in her home on March 8, 2018. Beloved wife and mother, teacher of math at Evergreen High School for over 30 years, effusive writer of cards for those she knew and loved.  She was cherished by her family and many friends, and will always be known affectionately as "1/2", her "other half" and husband of 50 years, Herbert Ackley Fredenburg, having preceded her in death.  Harriette is survived by daughters Adele Grant and Anne Kinne, her son Alan having also preceded her, as well as granddaughters Courtney, Riley, Katelyn, Victoria, and grandson James, and 7 great-grandchildren.  A celebration of her life will be held at Des Moines United Methodist Church in April.
