Boys basketball
Mount Rainier wraps up its regular season by hosting Kennedy Catholic for a 7 p.m. game Friday.
The Metro League season goes on a week longer.
Ballard hosts Cleveland for an 8:30 p.m. contest this Friday as Chief Sealth travels to Seattle Prep and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday West Seattle is at Seattle Prep with Chief Sealth at Roosevelt and Ballard at Bishop Blanchet.
Tyee’s South Puget Sound League 2A season ends with a 7 p.m. Friday contest at Foster as Highline hosts Renton and Evergreen travels to Lindbergh. Tyee visits Decatur at the same time Saturday and hosts Summit Sierra at the same time Monday.
Seattle Lutheran visits Evergreen Lutheran at 6 p.m. Saturday before hosting Crosspoint at 7:30 p.m. Monday and visiting Northwest at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Girls basketball
Kennedy Catholic concludes North Puget Sound League action with a 7 p.m. home game against Mount Rainier this Friday and in the Metro League at the same time Ballard hosts Cleveland and Chief Sealth goes to Seattle Prep.
West Seattle visits Seattle Prep at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday as Chief Sealth goes to Roosevelt and Ballard to Bishop Blanchet.
Tyee hosts Foster in its South Puget Sound League 2A finale Friday at 7 p.m. as Evergreen entertains Lindbergh and Highline travels to Renton. Tyee goes to Seattle Christian for a 4 p.m. Tuesday contest.

Chief Sealth hosts Ballard, Bainbridge and Holy Names for a 7 p.m. Friday meet with West Seattle going to Nathan Hale at 4 p.m.
Mount Rainier, Kennedy Catholic and Hazen all go to Tahoma for 6:30 p.m. action next Wednesday and Tyee gets a visit from Evergreen and Highline for a 7 p.m. meet this Thursday.
Boys swimming
West Seattle will be at the Southwest Athletic Complex pool hosting Chief Sealth and Ingraham for a 4 p.m. Friday meet and Foss visits the Evergreen, Highline and Tyee contingent at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Evergreen pool.
North Puget Sound League championship diving action is being held at the Auburn pool Friday with the NPSL swim meet at Hazen on Saturday.
Wrestling
Chief Sealth entertains West Seattle, Highline and Tyee along with Bellevue Christian, Cleveland, Clover Park, Mercer Island, the Muckleshoot Tribal School, Franklin and Tenino for a 4 p.m. meet this Friday.

Thunderbirds
Seattle hosts Lethbridge for 7:35 p.m. Western Hockey League action at the ShoWare Center in Kent this Friday before going to Portland for a 6 p.m. Saturday match.
The Thunderbirds come back to Showare to face the Kamloops Blazers at 5:05 p.m. Sunday.
Stars
Tacoma’s indoor soccer squad is off until Friday, Feb. 1 when it visits the El Paso Coyotes for a 6:15 p.m. match.
Seawolves
Seattle is gearing up for its second Major League Rugby season, which starts Friday, Feb. 1 with 7:30 p.m. home action against Glendale at the Starfire Complex in Tukwila.
Colleges
Husky men
The University of Washington men’s soccer team is in Oregon playing the Ducks at 6 p.m. Thursday before dropping in on the Oregon State Beavers at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday’s action can be seen on ESPN2 and Saturday’s on the Pac-12 network.
Husky women
Washington will be at home playing Oregon State at 8 p.m. Friday before getting a visit from West Seattle graduate Lydia Giomi and the Oregon Ducks at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The Pac-12 network will show both games live.
Cougar men
Washington State University drops in on Oregon State at 8 p.m. Thursday and visits Oregon at 5 p.m. Sunday with Thursday’s game on the Pac-12 network and Sunday’s on ESPNU.
Cougar women
The Cougars entertain Oregon for 7 p.m. Friday action before hosting Oregon State at 12 p.m. Sunday.
Both games will be carried on the Pac-12 network.
Redhawk men
Seattle visits Chicago State for a 5 p.m. Thursday game and Kansas City for 4 p.m. Saturday action.
Redhawk women
Chicago State visits the Redhawks for a 6 p.m. game Thursday and Kansas City comes by for 2 p.m. action Saturday.
Falcon men
Seattle Pacific University goes to Montana State for a 4:15 p.m. Saturday game.
Falcon women
Seattle Pacific is in Alaska this week, paying an 8 p.m. visit to Alaska Fairbanks on Thursday and going to Alaska Anchorage at the same time Saturday.
Bulldog men
Gonzaga University goes to Santa Clara for 8 p.m. Thursday action that can be seen on the ROOT Sports cable television network.
Bulldog women
Gonzaga entertains San Francisco for a 6 p.m. Thursday game in Spokane before hosting Santa Clara at 2 .m. Saturday.
