Ballard hosts Ingraham for a 5:30 p.m. Friday playoff at Seattle Memorial and Kennedy Catholic entertains Federal Way in a 7 p.m. playoff at Renton Memorial.
Highline goes to River Ridge and Mount Rainier to Enumclaw for 7 p.m. playoff action.
In non-playoff games, Evergreen entertains Lindbergh at 7 p.m. Friday at Highline Memorial as Foster hosts Renton on its own field and Chief Sealth goes to Nathan Hale.
West Seattle travels to Fort Vancouver for 2 p.m. Saturday action and Seattle Lutheran visits Tacoma Baptist at 7 p.m. Saturday at Curtis.
Girls soccer
Highline meets Steilacoom for a 10 a.m. Saturday playoff at Franklin Pierce Stadium and Kennedy Catholic visits Enumclaw for 1 p.m. playoff action.
West Seattle and Ballard are both in the Metro League playoffs.
West Seattle plays at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Southwest Athletic Complex if it won Wednesday and at 7 p.m. Thursday at Nathan Hale if it lost.
Ballard plays at 5 p.m. Saturday at the SWAC if it won and 5 p.m. Thursday at Nathan Hale if it lost.
Volleyball
The regular Metro League season concludes this Thursday.
Ballard hosts Roosevelt for a 7 p.m. match as West Seattle entertains Lincoln of Seattle and Chief Sealth pays a visit to Cleveland.
The Metro League tournament opens Tuesday.
Franklin Pierce hosts the South Puget Sound League 2A tournament Saturday.
Foster plays Steilacoom at 10 a.m. and Highline meets River Ridge at 2 p.m.
Cross country
Westside Classic meet action is taking place Saturday at the Chambers Bay golf course in Tacoma for Class 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A.
The first race starts at 10 a.m. and the last begins at 2:30 p.m.
Lake Sammamish State Park is the site of the Sea-King District meet involving the 3A Metro League.
The 3A girls run at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and the boys at 2 p.m.
Girls swimming
Curtis hosts the 4A West Central District meet preliminaries this Thursday and Friday ahead of 10 a.m. finals Saturday.
Metro League meet action starts at 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at SnoAqua.
The 2A West Central District meet is Friday at Lindbergh and Saturday at Hazen.
Boys soccer
Seattle Lutheran gets a 3:30 p.m. Thursday visit from Tacoma Baptist at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila.
Boys tennis
West Central District Class 4A tournament action starts at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Seahawks
Seattle comes home to CenturyLink Field to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
The game can be seen live on Channel 13 television.
Sounders
Seattle stunned No. 1-seeded LAFC by a 3-1 score in the Western final match Tuesday, earning its way into the Sunday, Nov. 10 Major League Soccer championship.
The Sounders will play the winner of Wednesday's Eastern final between Atlanta and Toronto at noon that day.
If Toronto wins the championship will be in Seattle and if Atlanta wins it will be in Georgia.
Thunderbirds
Seattle's Western Hockey League team visits the Tri-City Americans for a 7:05 p.m. match Friday before dropping in on the Portland Winterhawks at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Husky football
The University of Washington hosts Utah for a 1 p.m. Saturday clash that will be televised on Channel 13.
Cougar football
Washington State University drew a bye for this week before visiting California at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
Husky volleyball
Washington hosts USC for an 8 p.m. Friday match before entertaining UCLA at 2 p.m. Sunday.
