Boys basketball

Kennedy Catholic is at home playing Hazen at 7 p.m. Friday as Mount Rainier entertains Kentridge.

Both teams will see tournament action at Highline College this Saturday.

The Rams meet Mountlake Terrace at 2 p.m. with Kennedy playing Stadium at 3:30 p.m.

Mount Rainier goes to Hazen at 7 p.m. Tuesday as Kennedy visits Kent-Meridian.

Ballard gets an 8:30 p.m. visit from O'Dea Friday as Chief Sealth travels to Rainier Beach and West Seattle to Lakeside.

Ballard is home against Bremerton at 7 p.m. Saturday before visiting Chief Sealth at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as West Seattle entertains Rainier Beach.

Highline drops in on Tyee at 7 p.m. Friday as Evergreen hosts Renton and Foster visits Lindbergh.

Evergreen is at Foster for action at 7 p.m. Tuesday with Highline hosting Lindbergh and Tyee travelling to Renton.

Seattle Christian plays host to Lynden Christian at 7 p.m. Friday and Seattle Lutheran hosts Pacific Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Thursday before paying a visit to Pope John Paul II at 7 p.m. Saturday.

 

Girls basketball

Mount Rainier journeys to Kentridge for a 7 p.m. game Friday as Kennedy Catholic travels to Hazen, while Tuesday's schedule has Hazen at Mount Rainier and Kent-Meridian at Kennedy.

Ballard hosts Holy Names at 7 p.m. Friday as West Seattle visits Lakeside and Chief Sealth goes to Rainier Beach.

Evergreen visits Chief Sealth at 7 p.m. Monday and Ballard visits Chief Sealth at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday with West Seattle at home playing Rainier Beach at 7:30 p.m.

Highline travels to Tyee for a 5:30 p.m. Friday game and Foster hosts Lindbergh at 7 p.m. as Evergreen goes to Renton.

Tyee is home against Renton at 7 p.m. Tuesday as Foster visits Evergreen and Highline goes to Lindbergh.

Seattle Christian is at King's for a 7 p.m. Tuesday game.

Seattle Lutheran hosts Pacific Christian Academy at 6 p.m. Thursday and drops in on Pope John Paul II at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Seattle battles the Tri-City Americans at 7:35 p.m. Friday at the accesso Showare Center in Kent and the Spokane Chiefs visit at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.

The Thunderbirds go to Portland for a 5 p.m. Sunday game and to the Tri Cities at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Husky volleyball

Kennedy Catholic graduate and West Seattle resident Shayne McPherson and her University of Washington teammates face an 11:30 a.m. Friday playoff against Kentucky in Waco, Texas.

ESPN3 will air the match live.

Washington entertains Seattle University at 8 p.m. Sunday on the Pac-12 cable television network.

 

Cougar men's hoop

UC Riverside visits Washington State University in Pullman at 1:30 p.m. Sunday and Florida A&M flies in for a 7 p.m. Tuesday game.

Both games can be seen on Pac-12 cable.

 

Bulldog men's hoop

Gonzaga visits Arizona for 7 p.m. action Saturday before entertaining North Carolina at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
