Volleyball season is set to begin Tuesday, Sept. 8 in the North Puget Sound League and Kingco 2A Conference.

The Kingco dives right into league action that day as the NPSL 4A teams open with non-league action.

Tyee opens at Highline at 7:15 p.m. in the Kingco as Foster hosts Lindbergh and Evergreen travels to Sammamish.

Kennedy Catholic of the NPSL hosts Rogers of Puyallup at the same time.

Mount Rainier waits until Monday, Sept. 14 to open at Emerald Ridge.

Mount Rainier and Kennedy are in the Cascade Division for volleyball and most sports except football with Kent-Meridian, Kentlake, Kentridge, Kentridge, Kentwood and Tahoma.

Division play does not begin until Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The 2A Kingco consists of one division with Evergreen, Foster, Highline and Tyee joining Sammamish along with Lindbergh and Renton.  Interlake does not have volleyball.

All of the schedules are subject to change because of the coronavirus.
