Seahawks
Seattle pays a 10 a.m. Sunday visit to Washington that will be televised on Channel 13.
The Seahawks improved to 9-4 by soaring past the New York Jets, 40-3, Sunday and Washington is 6-7.
Quarterback Russell Wilson only played three quarters, completing 21 of 27 passes for 206 yards and four touchdowns.
Geno Smith came in for the fourth quarter and completed 4 of 5 for 33 yards.
DK Metcalf snagged six passes for 61 yards and Tyler Lockett caught five for 52.
Chris Carson carried the ball 12 times for 76 yards and Carlos Hyde added 66 yards on 15 carries.
Bobby Wagner made five tackles and one assist.
Sounders
Saturday was Seattle Sounders FC Spirit Day in Tukwila, but it wasn't the Sounders' day in Columbus.
Seattle suffered a 3-0 Major League Soccer championship loss to the Crew in the Ohio city Saturday night.
The City of Tukwila, where the Sounders train at the Starfire complex, had made a proclamation to honor the team with a day.
Seattle was making its fourth MLS Cup appearance in five years, missing the final in only 2018.
Colleges
Husky football
The University of Washington's scheduled game at Oregon this past Saturday was cancelled because of COVID-19 problems, leaving the Huskies at 3-1 in Pac-12 play for first place in the North Division.
Washington is scheduled to play USC for the overall Pac-12 title at 5 p.m. Friday at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Channel 13.
Cougar football
Washington State's game against California also fell victim to the virus, with the decision made 90 minutes before game time Saturday in Pullman.
The Cougars (1-2) visit Utah for a 10:30 a.m. game this coming Saturday.
Husky women
Haley Van Dyke scored 19 points and hauled down 11 rebounds for the Huskies in a 60-52 loss to Washington State University on Friday.
"I thought Haley Van Dyke came to life," said Huskies head coach Jody Wynn. "She did a really good job posting up smaller guards and I thought she did a really good job of cutting away from the ball. In the end, she did a better job of gathering herself and slowing down. That's definitely a bright spot for us."
The UW (4-1) rebounded for an 83-56 non-conference home win over Portland this past Sunday.
Quay Miller scored 19 and racked up nine rebounds to lead the way for a Washington team that broke its record for shooting percentage in a home game.
The UW shot 65.8 percent (35-for-54) from the field.
"We didn't settle for anything that was off balance the entire day and that was the difference," Wynn said.
Oregon comes to town Saturday, playing the Huskies at a time to be announced. Oregon State arrives for 2 p.m. Monday action.
Both games will be carried on the Pac-12 cable television network.
Husky men
Washington gets an 8 p.m. visit from the Montana Grizzlies on Wednesday before playing Colorado in Las Vegas at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Wednesday's action can be seen on the Pac-12 network.
Quade Green led the Huskies with 26 points in a narrow 74-71 loss to Oregon Saturday after leading with 16 in a 73-41 win over Seattle University last Wednesday.
Cougar men
Washington State University hosts Montana State at a time to be announced Friday before entertaining Prairie View at 4 p.m. Monday.
Both games will be televised on Pac-12 cable.
Noah Williams knocked in 19 points to lead the Cougars to a 61-58 win over Idaho last Wednesday.
WSU (5-0) was a 69-60 winner over Portland State on Sunday, led by the 18 points of Williams. Isaac Bonton added 16.
Cougar women
Led by the 20 points of Charlisse Leger-Walker, WSU posted a 60-52 win at Washington in its season opener Friday.
The Lady Cougars followed up by turning back the Idaho Vandals, 74-55, Sunday.
WSU hosts Oregon State at noon Saturday and Oregon at 11 a.m. Monday with both on Pac-12 cable.
Redhawk men
Seattle University entertains College of Idaho at 6 p.m. Thursday.
The Redhawks blasted Northwest University on Sunday, 89-40.
Riley Grigsby tossed in 27 points to lead the Seattle scorers.
Redhawk women
Seattle University visits Eastern Washington for a 2:05 p.m. game Saturday before going to Idaho to battle the Vandals at 2 p.m. Monday.
The Redhawks won their first game of the season Thursday, routing Northwest University of Kirkland, 106-39.
Courtney Murphy led the way to victory with 16 points.
Bulldog men
No. 1-ranked Gonzaga returns to action Saturday after sitting out because of COVID-19, visiting Iowa for a 9 a.m. game on Channel 7.
The Bulldogs entertain Northwest State at 6 p.m. Monday on ROOT Sports Northwest.
Bulldog women
Gonzaga plays Eastern Michigan Sunday and North Alabama Monday at the Holiday Hoops Classic in Las Vegas with times to be announced.
The Lady Bulldogs pounded Wyoming into submission by an 89-50 score Tuesday, Dec. 8, led by the 16 points and 10 rebounds of Jenn Wirth.
Gonzaga (3-2) was a 58-51 winner over Montana this past Sunday. LeeAnne Wirth led with 12 points.
