Majors state
The District 7 champion West Seattle team opens state tournament action Saturday, playing District 8 in a 1:30 p.m. game at Hartman Park in Redmond.
A win would advance the squad into 2 p.m. Sunday action and a win there puts it into a 6 p.m. Wednesday contest.
Wednesday's winner makes the 10 a.m. Saturday winners bracket final and the Saturday winner advances to the 6 p.m. Monday championship. The if-necessary games would be at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Intermediate state
Winners bracket final action is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Steven J. Underwood complex in Des Moines with the losers bracket final at the same time Friday.
Championship play starts at 11 a.m. Saturday and the if-necessary game is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday.
The District 7 team bowed out in two games over the weekend.
Minors District 7
The PacWest complex in SeaTac is hosting the championship game at 5:30 p.m. Thursday with the if-necessary game at the same time Friday.
Age 11 District 7
The if-necessary championship game would take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bar-S Fields in West Seattle.

Seattle returns to action Friday, paying a 6:38 p.m. visit to the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim.
The teams play again at 6:07 p.m. Saturday and 1:07 p.m. Sunday.
The Mariners visit the Colorado Rockies at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday and 12:10 p.m. Wednesday.

Seattle visits Minnesota for 11 a.m. Sunday action on ESPN.

The women's soccer squad visits Chicago for a 3 p.m. Sunday match.

Seattle hosts Houston for 7 p.m. Thursday action at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila that can be seen on ROOT Sports at 10 p.m.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing track is open at 6 p.m. Thursday, 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Rainiers
Tacoma will be at home at Cheney Stadium playing Salt Lake City in a 6:05 p.m. twin bill Thursday, in 7:05 p.m. single games Friday and Saturday and in a 1:35 p.m. games Sunday.
The two teams play again at 7:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Aquasox
Everett hosts the Tri-City Dust Devils at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 4:05 p.m. Sunday.
The Aquasox visit Vancouver at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
