The scope and magnitude of the wildfire disasters on Maui this week defy description.

The loss of life is staggering and continues to rise as the brave firefighters continue to battle and contain the blazes and the ongoing search and recovery efforts move forward.

The value of what has been lost in incalculable and the significance of the cultural, historic, and commercial destruction is irreplaceable. 

There were several areas across the island that were affected, and our beloved Lahaina town suffered near complete destruction.

How do you quantify the loss of life, the homes, businesses, livelihoods, inventory, original art, cultural and historic artifacts, beloved memorabilia, and countless precious memories that have been lost in this unprecedented tragedy for our island home?
