Sore loser

A simple domino game turned sour after a loser refused to pay up ($80), threw a brick through the host's sliding glass door ($1,500), and then threatened to burn the host's house down.

Near 13th and Myrtle, a couple was concerned to see a young boy standing on the street corner in the dark. He told them he was waiting for his mom, who had left him on the curb after they had argued in the car. He wore only a thin t-shirt, pants, and no jacket, as well as one black shoe and one pink ballet slipper. The citizens called 911 and officers came to investigate.

Mount Rainier versus Highline had a lot of good swims in it, and two great ones, as the Mount Rainier pool record-beater, Leona Jennings, led as the Rams won, 124-43, against the visiting Pirates Thursday.

Jennings, Jennings, Jennings... That girl is great in the water. No, scratch that. She’s better than that. She’s before this 2008 girls swim season is one of the best to ever pass through.

Burien Little Theatre's sexy opener is a real rockin' experience

If you're planning to see Burien Little Theatre's rockin', screamin', and outrageous "Rocky Horror Show," here are a few tips for uninitiated audience members:

You might want to re-consider the idea that theatre audiences sit still and remain quiet during the performance.

You may want to re-think the assumption that wearing sexy, black lingerie is just for women.

If you're hard of hearing, you might get away with keeping your hearing aid at home...(just kidding!)

But, what I am NOT kidding about is that BLT's screamingly sexy season opener isn't just
