Metro offers multiple options to get to SR99 tunnel party

On Saturday, February 2, Metro Transit will be both a primary transportation resource for - and significantly affected by - the SR 99 Tunnel Grand Opening Step Forward event.  

Service areas expected to be most affected are downtown Seattle, Belltown, Seattle Center and SODO, however, major events and associated delays or other impacts can affect transit service in many other areas as well.

Lisa Herbold announces re-election bid for District 1

District 1 Seattle City Council member Lisa Herbold officially announced her bid for re-election on January 30.

In a post on Facebook Herbold said, "I’m proud of our strong constituent services program to also make *City Hall* work for you!"

On her campaign website she touted her accomplishments since her 2015 election:

Highline High School’s final design will be unveiled February 7

 Come celebrate a milestone in the journey of Highline High School. Join Bassetti Architects and the design review committee to see the final design and details for the new Highline High School on Thursday, February 7 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the HHS library.

Highline High School is located at 225 South 152nd Street in Burien. The library is on the east side of the school building. All are welcome.
