As you head north just out of White Center on 16th SW you might remember the large sculpture of the steer on wheels that Tom Salle, owner of the Live Butcher has had on display at 9432 16th SW. But honestly less well known was the mural that was on the south wall of the building.
"It was up for a long time and it just got faded so I wanted to freshen it up," he said. Salle had seen the mural done by local artist known as @Nakmatter on the wall of Bok a Bok Chicken as well as one that adorns the wall outside at Two Finger Social Club and reached out.

Jet City Beignet wants you to enjoy some sweet treats
If you have ever been to New Orleans you know the city is famous for a few things including jazz, the resiliency of their people and cajun cuisine. But one export has been elusive. The Beignet. If you've never had one it is the French term for a pastry made from deep fried choux dough. Choux contains only butter, flour, water and eggs whose moisture when deep fried creates an exceptionally light puffy pastry shell.
But for Greg and Tiffany (no last names for now) Seattle was lacking a truly high quality source of this southern favorite. Hence their new Pop Up on Sundays at 4611 36th Ave SW, Jet City Beignet. In addition to selling the sweet treats directly they also manufacture their signature beignet dough and sell it frozen for people to make at home. To order yours for pickup on Sunday visit their website at https://www.jetcitybeignet.com/

http://inneralchemytt.com/http://inneralchemytt.com/ the business that opened in July of 2017 at 7354 35th SW was many things to many people but now the storefront part of the business has closed. Owner Maari Falsetto shared the news with her "tribe" as she calls them and vowed to carry on. At first it was a place where various practitioners of non traditional healing modalities could rent space and offer their services. Massages, Reiki, hypnosis, tarot card readings, astrological readings and more were offered. But Inner Alchemy evolved into offering yoga, and seminars and more recently began selling a wide range of crystals.
Falsetto explained her history:
Inspired by my vision and intention to create a beautiful place for heart centered healing specialists to come together and work in a collaborative and co-creative way.
