A woman returned home on the night of May 21st to find muddy footprints on her living room floor and her flat screen TV missing. She told the responding officer that she had locked her front door before she left but did not remember whether she had locked her back door. The back door was open and there were no signs of forced entry.
The victim said that her TV and $600 were the only items she noticed to be missing. Police noticed valuable items including a camera and an iPod lying in plain view. The victim showed police a decorative container that she believed the burglar had moved. It was dusted for fingerprints and one print was found. Three more prints were found on the back door.

A woman arrived at her business on Market St on the morning of May 20th to find the door open. The lock had been punched, but nothing else appeared to be damaged. The business’s cash bags were empty, and receipts showed that they should have contained $216. The burglar did not appear to have taken anything else. No fingerprints were found at the scene.

A woman called police on the morning of May 19th to report that two men had tried to enter her home. They used a key from the victim’s purse, which had been stolen two weeks ago. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived and they were not found in the area. The victim told police that she had heard loud banging at her door and then the suspects put the key in the lock. She then opened the door and the suspects ran off, leaving the key behind.
The victim said that on May 6th she was in the University district with a group of friends when a group of young black males approached the group and stole her purse. She told police that she never reported the incident because she was scared and she had been drinking underage when the purse was stolen. The victim told police that the burglary suspects were two of the men who had stolen her purse. She believed that they had found her address by looking at the driver’s license in her purse.
