Mayor McGinn will make some of his first public comments about the overwhelming Referendum 1 victory at the 36th District Democrats' meeting tonight.

The Mayor will address the membership and engage in a question and answer session.

Last night, Mayor McGinn reacted on his Facebook page stating, "I worked to give the public a direct vote on the tunnel. The public said move ahead with the tunnel, and that's what we're going to do."

To hear more of his comments attend the meeting tonight starting at 7:00 p.m. at the eastern building of the Phinney Neighborhood Association at 6532 Phinney Avenue North.

Mayor McGinn will be speaking from roughly 8:00 p.m. until 8:40 p.m.
