Baseball head coach John Lamm had big expectations for his seniors this year, and the seniors rose to met them. After a six-game winning streak, the Beavers are headed to playoffs. Their first game is this Saturday at 4 p.m. at Woodinville High School.
On Monday night, the Ballard baseball team won their sixth game in a row with a 4-6 victory over Woodinville.
Now, the team hopes this winning streak will continue as they head into the KingCo playoffs on Saturday. The Beavers are the number two seed behind Inglemoor in the Crown Division.
Beavers pitcher Caleb Jaeger has been a big part of the team's success in the regular season, throwing shutout after shutout.
In two games, the Ballard senior threw over 10 innings of shutout baseball against Issaquah and Skyline, earning him the KingCo Pitcher of the Week title multiple times.
The Beavers will face Issaquah in their first playoff game on Saturday, May 5th. The game will start at 4 p.m. at Woodinville.
Come out to cheer on your Beavers!
