Teen program director arrested for sex with teenager
The Seattle Police reports that the head of a North Seattle Boys and Girls Club teen program was arrested on June 15th for repeated inappropriate sexual contact with a teenage volunteer.
Investigators believe the 28-year-old man, who has been the director of the club’s teen program since 2008, began an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female volunteer in 2011.
Detectives believe the suspect first began his inappropriate contact with his 17-year-old victim in March 2011 while he and the victim were on an out-of-state club trip together.
A few months later the man later told the victim that he was falling in love with her, asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend, and then took her to a Renton hotel and had sex with her.
Detectives believe the man had sex with the teen at Seattle and Portland hotels between August 2011 and November 2011.
The 28-year-old man has known the teen since she was in middle school, and has mentored and supervised her at the Boys and Girls Club.
Sexual Assault Unit detectives booked the suspect into the King County Jail on for Felony Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.
Fake cop sexually assaults woman
Seattle Police reports that a 26-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man posing as an undercover police officer on June 15th.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. when the female victim was walking in the 1100th block of North 93rd Street on her way to meet a friend. The male suspect confronted her on the sidewalk, identifying himself as a plain clothes police officer working a sting in the area.
The suspect asked the victim for her identification. The victim hesitated for a moment and actually started to walk away when the suspect confronted her again displaying a badge. The suspect then pushed the victim into a bushy area where she was sexually assaulted. After the assault the suspect fled in an unknown direction and remains at large.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9″ tall, 30 to 40 years old, clean cut with short dark curly hair, a stocky build and no accent. See a sketch, here.

Teenager stabbed at Golden Gardens
Seattle Police report that a teenage boy was stabbed during a large fight at Golden Gardens Park over the weekend.
On Friday night at approximately 11:35 p.m., multiple patrol officers responded to Golden Gardens Park for reports of a large fight disturbance. Upon arrival officers found a large party of teenagers on the northern beach area. Officers discovered no on-going fights or assault victims.
Approximately 10 minutes later a victim called 911 to report that he had been stabbed at the park. The victim had self-evacuated to a friend’s house in the area. Further investigation indicated that the victim had multiple stab wounds to his upper torso however, the victim was uncooperative with investigating officers and the suspect(s) remain at large.
North Precinct patrol officers responding to the initial call were supplemented by multiple officers from the Violence Prevention Emphasis Patrol, which allowed officers to rapidly clear the beach and close down the park for the night.
