When one of the victims returned home around 1:00 p.m., the man was still there and was standing next to a large, heavyset man. The victim then discovered that her apartment had been burglarized. Her computer, computer accessories, and TV had been stolen. She believed the suspect(s) had entered the apartment through an open rear window.
The responding officer ran the former tenant’s name through the system and found multiple warrants out for his arrest. Neighbors said that he frequently steals to support his drug habit and pawns the items in pawnshops along Aurora Ave.
