How can residents improve Ballard Commons Park? Discuss it at tonight's Central Ballard Residents Association meeting.
The Central Ballard Residents Association is tonight (Thursday, July 11). They will be discussing the Ballard Commons and how best to take care of it.
As usual, the meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Swedish Hospital Ballard Campus, Conference Room A on the main floor of the hospital, to the right after going through the entrance on 5330 Tallman Ave.
In an email, CBRA Chair Mike Kahrs writes, "The Ballard Commons has become the active center of central Ballard. To protect, promote and utilize the commons for all our citizens, it has been suggested that there should be a non-profit called 'Friends of the Ballard Commons.' What exactly are its contours including structure, goals and aspirations are very much open for discussion. Please join us in a communal conversation about the nature of the Commons and how such an organization can make it a better place for all who use it."
