The Central Ballard Residents Association will be talking about microhousing at their meeting tonight (Thursday, Nov. 14) at 7 p.m.
The guest speaker Geoffrey Wentlandt, Seattle Department of Planning and Development, to present DPD's proposed rules related to the controversial microhousing boom in Ballard. Joining Geoffrey will be a representative from SDOT, as the two issues are intertwined. (Think parking and traffic.)
"Hopefully, he will effectively address the questions that many residents certainly will have," says CBRA member Rebecca Todd. "Should be an interesting program."
The Ballard District Council had a conversation about microhousing last night at some fireworks were already popping twixt residents. Tonight, which will go more into detail and have a presentation, should promise to be exciting.
The meeting will be at the Swedish Hospital Ballard Campus, Conference Room A on the main floor of the hospital. It'll be to the right after entering the front entrance on 5330 Tallman Ave.
