UPDATE:

Power has now been restored to affect areas.

At 1:19 p.m. there was a power outage affecting 9,700 homes and businesses in Queen Anne, Magnolia, Fremont and Ballard. At this point there still 1,400 customers without power.

Seattle City Lights claimed on their Twitter feed that a cable failure appears to be the problem, but they are still investigating outage.
