Pride-full weekend ahead and much more…
Fri, 06/27/2014
Pride events over the next three days are happening on Capitol Hill, in Downtown Seattle and at the Seattle Center. Additionally, at the Seattle Center, both the Seattle Storm and Seattle Reign are set to play, plus Cher brings her D 2 K Tour to the Key Arena. And if that’s not enough, the Seattle Seafair Pirates land on Alki Beach Saturday to mark the official start of Seattle Seafair while in the Greenwood District, car buffs can enjoy the ever-popular annual Greenwood Car Show. You’ll find details about these and other events below.
The Seattle Department of Transportation encourages motorists to consider joining the ranks striving to reduce air pollution by not driving alone and trying one of the many alternate forms of transportation available – Metro Transit, the Sounder, Link light rail, West Seattle Water Taxi, the Seattle Streetcar, the monorail, carpool, bicycle, or even walk - if feasible.
