Eight units, two being water rescue vessels, were dispatched to Golden Gardens after a 30-year-old male lost control of his sailboard.
Seattle fire department officials said that the border lost control of his board and fell in the water. After not being able to get back on the board, a good Samaritan boater towed the individual to the point of the beach where he was able to swim ashore. The man suffered no injuries, though shaken.
