Electric bike taken from open garage

A Ballard couple is missing an electric bicycle after their garage located on the 100 block of N.W. 73rd Street was broken into on June 15. The complainants told police that sometime during the night someone stole their OHM 185 XU blue 15 speed electric bike. The suspect also took a garage door opener. The complainants said that the garage door was open at the time of the theft. The bicycle was estimated to be a couple thousand dollars. The couple has since changed their code for their garage door.

Nail salon burglarized, alcohol taken

A nail salon on the 700 block of N.W. 100th Place was burglarized on June 17. According to the business owner sometime during the night the large front window of the salon was broken through with a large rock. The suspect stole several bottles of rubbing alcohol. Police were unable to recover any fingerprints from the scene. The business owner said that this is the third time the business have been burglarized.
