A man is missing and the subject of a search after his boat, 14 foot skiff was found adrift and reported to the Coast Guard.

The boat carried documentation that said it was bought last week and delivered to the marina at around 3 p.m. Friday, according to authorities. The man reportedly told delivery crews that his intentions were to sail from the marina to North Bainbridge Island.

The man is white, weighs approximately 350 pounds and is about 6-feet-6-inches tall with brown hair. His name was not disclosed.
