Sea-King District tournament action gets underway this Saturday with loser-out games for both the West Seattle boys and girls and the Ballard girls.
The No. 2-ranked and Metro League undefeated regular season West Seattle girls now find their season on the line in a 3:00 p.m. game against Mercer Island.
The West Seattle boys entertain Lake Washington at 5 p.m.
Both teams finished as No. 4 teams in the Metro League championship tournament.
The Ballard girls took fifth place in the Metro League championship tournament and will now host Rainier Beach at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Rainier Beach is the No. 7 seed from the Metro League district qualifying tournament for lower regular season finishers.
Whoever survives Saturday goes on to further district action next week.
