Ballard bagged a fourth place finish as a team in the 1A/2A/3A competition at the state gymnastics meet held at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall, led by the fourth place all-around score of 36.750 by Lianne Kistler.
The Beavers combined for a total of 167.050 points in the team competition held Thursday.
Celyn Stermer of Ballard tied for 13th in the all-around competition with a 34.500 total that day and teammate Ava Alvord took 24th with 32.950.
Frances Magnuson took 34th for the Beavers at 31.650, Sarah Hudson 65th at 24.275 and Clare Mullins 95th (14.00). Also competing for Ballard were Zoe Seeman (119th), Katryna Potter (128th) and Eliza Volk (tie 131st).
Summer Kramer of West Seattle was 104th in the all-around at 8.900 and Nicole Brose of Highline came in 130th.
Individual finals for 1A/2A/3A athletes were held Friday.
Kistler captured third place in the bars with a score of 9.350 and also came in seventh in the vault with a 9.425 and was 15th in the beam (8.475) and floor exercise (9.025).
Stermer tied for ninth place in the bars with two competitors at 9.250 and Alvord took 12th in the beam with an 8.700.
Class 4A
Naleia Gomes of Mount Rainier nailed an eighth place finish in the 4A all-around Friday with a total score of 37.050.
Payton Hayes of Kennedy Catholic tied for 24th in the all-around with a 34.725 and Allison Shimp of Mount Rainier was 115th with 8.675.
Gomes tied for second in the beam in Saturday’s individual finals with a 9.325 score. She was also seventh in the bars with a 9.175 and eighth in the floor with a 9.500 – just ahead of the 9.475 of Hayes.
Hayes also had a 9.475 in the vault for ninth place.
