West Seattle scored a big time victory in Metro League girls fastpitch softball action Friday.
The Wildcats blasted crosstown rival Chief Sealth by an 18-2 score at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
In other fastpitch action, Mount Rainier enjoyed a similar time in a North Puget Sound League game Thursday -- blasting Kent-Meridian, 17-1.
Kennedy Catholic was outscored by Tahoma that day, 11-9.
Baseball
Ballard's Beavers outslugged Garfield, 9-4, in Metro League baseball action Friday.
Chief Sealth was edged by Nathan Hale in another Metro League game Friday, 6-5, as Mount Rainier was blanked by Kentwood in NPSL action, 6-0.
Foster fell, 15-0, to Washington in a South Puget Sound League game Friday.
