Ballard Industrial has acquired the assets of Jaxx LLC located in South Seattle. The acquisition officially occurred on March 23, when the combined firm began conducting business as both Ballard Industrial and Jaxx. The purchase marks a significant expansion of Ballard Industrial’s hydraulic jacking rental fleet while expanding their available repair, test and certification capabilities including certifications conforming to ANSI/NCSLZ540-1 and traceable to NIST.

Jaxx LLC, founded in 2004 by Jorn Ingebrigtsen, specializes in high pressure hydraulic systems and industrial specialty equipment, primarily focused in the construction, industrial and aerospace markets. Like Ballard Industrial, Jaxx’ s consistent growth has been organic, driven through customer referrals, the efforts of dedicated employees and supplier support.

The acquisition provides both companies an opportunity to build on their strengths and success. Ingebrigtsen stated “I’m pleased to join the team at Ballard Industrial.
