Panelists include two UW faculty, David Montgomery, PhD, from Earth and Space Sciences and Elizabeth Wheat, PhD, Program on the Environment, as well as Doug Collins, PhD, Extension Faculty with the Food Systems Program at Washington State University. Moderator will be P. Sean McDonald, PhD, UW Program on the Environment and School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences.

Sat., May 19, 7:30 p.m. Seattle Folklore Society presents in concert traditional Irish Fiddler Gerry Connor with accomplished guitar accompanist Richard Mandel. Gerry is a numerous All Ireland Title winner, and four-time Fiddler of Oriel competition winner, and has played with legendary bands such as Planxty, Bothy Band, De Dannan, and the Chieftains. Richard has performed with numerous well-known Irish artists such as Paddy Keenan, Mick Moloney, and Jimmy Keane.
