Ballard bagged a ninth place finish on the girls side and a 10th place finish on the boys side in the Class 3A portion of the state cross country meet held at the Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco Saturday.
The Beaver girls finished with 219 points as a team and the boys scored 227.
Highline took 12th in the Class 2A girls team competition with 315 points.
Nell Baker led the Ballard girls with a 30th place overall individual Class 3A finish in a time of 19 minutes, 47.60 seconds and Jill Philbin finished 34th in 19:53.70.
Samantha Smith snagged 45th in 20:02.70 and Abby MacDonald was 95th in 20:59.30. Hannah Weaver was 121st in 21:29.60, Maisie Clark 127th in 21:47.00 and Anastasia Konugres 138th in 22:19.90.
Kai Vickers paced the Beaver boys with a 51st place finish in 16:44.30 and Max Levy was 55th in 16:46.20 with James Shepard 56th in 16:46.30.
Ermias Hager came in 87th in 17:08.20, Eric Souza-Ponce 88th in 17:10.20, Jovan Koledin 133rd in 17:47.80 and Jonah Maier 141st in 18:05.50.
McKenna Cowan of Highline took 20th in the 2A girls race in 20:01.70 and teammate Yesenia Bedolla-Mendoza was 66th in 21:24.00.
Ana Rios of Foster was 93rd individually in that race in 22:01.40 with Highline's Angalina Valle-Perez 113th in 22:29.10.
Jessica Bedolla-Mendoza was 115th in 22:32.50.
Tyee's Karla Ortega took 124th in 22:53.40 and teammate Hillary Gonzalez was 132nd in 23:14.80. Donna Te of Foster finished 134th in 23:17.20.
Highline's Savannah Taylor snagged 158th in 25:38.10 with teammate Ashleigh Bell 161st in 25:54.60. Yary Vargas of the Pirates placed 162nd in 28:15.90.
In the 4A girls race, Marissa Tweedy of Kennedy Catholic came in 49th in 19:46.90 with teammate Billie Braun 113th in 20:38.90 and Mount Rainier's Taylor Johnson 123rd in 20:46.30.
Sam Martin of Kennedy was 130th in the boys race in 17:12.80.
Katherine Anderson of Seattle Christian finished 37th in Class 1A girls action in 20:28.20 with teammate Sage Gibson 79th in 21:52.40.
Dylan White of the Warriors was 51st in the boys race in 17:38.80 with teammate Maxim Hodges 127th in 18:42.50.
