Boys basketball
Kennedy Catholic hosts Mount Rainier for a 7 p.m. Friday game before entertaining Tahoma at the same time Tuesday as the Rams get a visit from Kentwood.
Ballard visits Lakeside for an 8:30 p.m. game Friday as West Seattle travels to Nathan Hale and Chief Sealth to Bainbridge. Tuesday’s 7:30 p.m. schedule has Ballard hosting Ingraham as Chief Sealth entertains Franklin and West Seattle gets a visit from Bishop Blanchet.
Evergreen entertains Washington at 7 p.m. Friday as Tyee hosts River Ridge, Foster travels to Orting and Highline to Eatonville. Tyee is at home facing Franklin Pierce at the same time Saturday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. Foster hosts Fife, Tyee entertains Orting, Highline goes to Washington and Evergreen to Clover Park.
Seattle Lutheran travels to Mount Vernon Christian for 7:30 p.m. Friday action before visiting Auburn Adventist at the same time Tuesday.
Girls basketball
Mount Rainier plays a 7 p.m. home game against Kennedy Catholic on Friday and at the same time Tuesday the Rams go to Kentwood as Kennedy travels to Tahoma.
West Seattle hosts Sequim at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and at 7 p.m. Friday the Wildcats go to Nathan Hale as Chief Sealth goes to Bainbridge and Ballard to Lakeside.
Ballard turns around to host Ingraham at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Chief Sealth will be at home playing Franklin as West Seattle hosts Bishop Blanchet.
Tyee entertains Ingraham at 7 p.m. Thursday before visiting River Ridge on Friday. Foster gets a visit from Orting on Friday as Highline hosts Eatonville and Evergreen travels to Washington.
Highline plays a 7 p.m. home game against Washington and Evergreen entertains Clover Park on Tuesday as Foster visits Fife and Tyee goes to Orting.
Seattle Christian visits Cascade Christian at 6 p.m. Friday and hosts Vashon Island at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, with Seattle Lutheran going to Shoreline Christian at 6 p.m. Friday and to Auburn Adventist at the same time Tuesday.

Kennedy Catholic goes to Todd Beamer with Decatur and Kentwood for a 6:30 p.m. meet next Wednesday as Mount Rainier goes to Auburn Mountainview with Enumclaw and Kent-Meridian.

Ballard is at Cleveland for a 4 p.m. meet Friday as Chief Sealth and West Seattle go to Franklin.
Kennedy Catholic hosts Kentlake for a 3 p.m. meet at the City of Tukwila pool Tuesday and Mount Rainier travels to Tahoma for 3:30 p.m. action.
Wrestling
Mount Rainier is hosting the Highline Public Schools Invite this Saturdayat 10 a.m. involving 14 teams, including Mount Rainier, Highline, Evergreen and Tyee as well as Chief Sealth.

Seattle opens National Football League playoff action Saturday with a 5:16 p.m. visit to the Dallas Cowboys.
Channel 13 television will carry the game live.
Thunderbirds
Seattle visits the Brandon Wheat Kings for 5:30 p.m. Western Hockey League action this Friday before dropping in on the Regina Pats at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Thunderbirds go to Saskatoon for a 5 p.m. match Tuesday and to Prince Albert at the same time Wednesday.

Tacoma’s indoor soccer team visits the El Paso Coyotes for a 6:15 p.m. match this Friday before dropping in on Rio Grande Valley at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.

Husky vs. Cougar men
The University of Washington hosts Washington State University for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday men’s basketball game that can be seen live on the Pac-12 cable television network.
Husky women
Washington visits Oregon for a 6 p.m. game Friday that will be televised on the Pac-12 network before dropping in on Oregon State at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Oregon’s roster includes West Seattle High School graduate Lydia Giomi.
Cougar women
Washington State University goes to Oregon State for a 7 p.m. game Friday and to Oregon for 3 p.m. action Sunday.
The Pac-12 cable network will show both games live.
Redhawk men
Seattle University visits CSU Bakersfield at 7 p.m. Thursday and Grand Canyon at 6 p.m. Saturday.
