Information from Sound Transit
Now that the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) comment period has closed, the Sound Transit Board is reviewing public, agency, and Tribal comments, as well as the results of the Draft EIS analysis. We anticipate the Board will confirm or modify the preferred alternative and station locations in July. As a reminder, a preferred alternative indicates a preference among alternatives, but is not a final decision or obligation.
Prior to the full Sound Transit Board meeting in July, the System Expansion Committee (SEC) will meet on Friday, May 20 from 1pm to 3:30pm, for a workshop focused on the West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions project.
The workshop will be an opportunity for Board members to gain a deeper understanding of the project’s environmental work and analysis.
Members of the public may attend the meeting in a variety of ways including dialing in via touch-tone phone, through their browser, or via the WebEx mobile app. For more information, visit the Board of Directors website.
