Orphan Relief and Rescue (ORR) works with orphaned, abandoned and abused children in Liberia and Benin, West Africa, who have simply been forgotten, that no one else will help.
We are a grassroots organization helping to bring justice to children in a variety of ways. We are delivering much-needed aid, construction improvements, training and child development services, to enable children in difficult circumstances to grow up in a healthy manner.
Our focus is two-fold; help the honest, caring orphanage directors that genuinely love children, and work with local governments to see that corrupt and abusive directors are removed from their positions.
All the while, we are making sure that kids are rescued from abuse, neglect, and trafficking through a variety of channels.
Our desire is to redeem a lost generation of children. We have studied the problems and tested the solutions.
Over one thousand children have benefited from Orphan Relief and Rescue’s programs through a field team of five international staff and 30 nationals, and five local staff here in America.
Orphan Relief and Rescue was founded in 2006 specifically to serve those orphans that no one else is helping. They are in the worst conditions imaginable, with no one else to turn to.
Join us on November 6th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., for a great time with great people to support the endeavor to help the needy children in Africa.
