Chief Sealth/West Seattle
The combined Chief Sealth/West Seattle squad went up against Nathan Hale in a Metro League meet Friday.
Nathan Hale won against separated teams for the girls score, defeating Chief Sealth by a 173-119 score and West Seattle by a 197-71 margin. Chief Sealth was a 122-70 winner over its West Seattle practice partner.
On the boys side, Nathan Hale handed Chief Sealth a 79-67 loss and West Seattle an 85-50 defeat. Chief Sealth was a 62-50 winner over West Seattle.
Nicole Moro won the 200 individual medley for the Chief Sealth girls in 2:34.55 and Kelsey Hastings took the 100 butterfly in 1:07.08. The Sealth 200 free relay won in 2:01.03 and Hastings won the 100 back in 1:09.42. The 100 breast went to Moro in 1:21.37.
West Seattle had no girls winners, but both West Seattle teams won events on the boys side.
West Seattle won the 200 medley relay in 1:55.69 and Michael Stewart of Chief Sealth won the 200 free in 1:56.72 and also took first in the 50 free in 23.82. West Seattle's Mitchell Dean won the 200 IM in 2:25.01 and Morgan Montemayor of Chief Seattle won the 100 fly in 57,80. Montemayor also won the 100 back in 1:03.31 and Ivan Picinic of West Seattle won the 100 free in 1:04.50. Luke Asatiani of West Seattle took the 100 breast in 1:50.25.
Wrestling
Chief Sealth
Jordan Armstrong won by forfeit at 106 pounds for the Seahawks Friday, then Joriah Acaio won the 113 by forfeit and Hila Cross took the 132-pound match by pin in 1:10.
Mike Lakisa was a winner by forfeit at 195 pounds and Bruce Forrest won the 220 by pin in 31 seconds.
