Antonio Wynter scored on an 87-yard kickoff return to start the second half and scored a 10-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter to help spark the Kennedy Catholic Lancers to a 51-14 victory over Lindbergh.
Thursday's win put the Seamount League title into the hands of the Lancers for the 19th time in the last 24 seasons. Kennedy finished with a perfect 6-0 record to show for its Seamount League efforts and now carries a 7-1 overall record into the Class 3A postseason.
Lindbergh was expected to give the Lancers a run for their money, but it did not turn out that way Thursday. Lindbergh fell to 7-2, 5-1 and still emerged as the top 2A team in the Seamount League, however.
Colin Cossette also enjoyed a big game for JFK, gaining 137 yards on 16 carries and scoring two touchdowns. Lindbergh was without the services of quarterback Matt Stuart, who is having Tommy John surgery on his elbow and is out for the rest of the year.
Evergreen 62, Highline 34
Evergreen and Highline scored a total of 96 points between each other Friday, with the Wolverines scoring 62 of them to the 34 of the Highline Pirates.

West Central District 4A
Mount Rainier captured first place as a team at Saturday's Class 4A West Central District meet held at Curtis High School in University Place, scoring a total of 361 points.
Megan Kawaguchi led the way for the Lady Rams, taking the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2 minutes, 7.08 seconds and winning the 100 backstroke in 57.96.
West Central District 3A
Kennedy Catholic won first place in the West Central District 3A meet, scoring 363 points. Highline came in fourth as a team with 159 points and Evergreen placed sixth with 92.
JFK's Anna Luksetich won the 200 freestyle in 2:05.45 and the 500 free in 5:43.53.
Angela Gagliardo was another double winner for the Lancers, taking the 200 IM in 2:20.00 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.97.
Ashley Knox of JFK scored 410.80 points to win diving and Vanessa Moffatt took the 100 free in a time of 55.25.
Kennedy also won the 400 free relay in 3:47.35.

West Central District 4A
Jordan McPhee of Mount Rainier took second place as an individual in the West Central District 4A girls race, posting a time of 18:25.
West Central District 3A
Samuel Gustafsson of Highline finished sixth in the WCD 3A boys race with his time of 16:47 and JFK's Nick Dorsett came in eighth in 16:52.
