Karl Leitzke hit 20 points and Andrew Goyins swished in 17 to lift the Evergreen Lutheran boys basketball of Des Moines to a regular season-ending win over Shorewood Christian of West Seattle this past Tuesday.
Shorewood Christian was led by the 31 points of King in the Sea-Tac B League action.
Girls basketball
Ev. Luth. 58, Shorewood Chr. 38
Evergreen Lutheran came away with a decisive victory over Shorewood Christian on the girls side last Tuesday.
Emily Holder and Karissa Kjenstad led the Eagles to victory, scoring 20 and 17 points, respectively.
The Shorewood Christian scorers were paced by Nicole Jones with 20 points.

Girls basketball
Lakes 42, Kennedy 30
Kennedy took a hit at the hands of Lakes in a Seamount League tournament game Wednesday.
Ware led Lakes with 18 points, while the Lancers were led by the nine points of Abrajera and the seven points of Gallagher.
Clover Park 47, Foster 31
Suta swished in 11 points and Horton 10 but the Bulldogs of Foster High School in Tukwila still took a hit at the hands of South Puget Sound League 3A champion Clover Park in a road game Wednesday. Roberson added six points and Jamison scored four.
Thursday, Feb. 7
Girls basketball
Mt. Rainier 57, Todd Beamer 56
Mount Rainier High School of Des Moines edged out Todd Beamer of Federal Way in the South Puget Sound League girls basketball tournament championship this past Thursday.
Brittany McPhee slipped 27 points into the net to lead the Rams to victory and twin sister Jordan McPhee was next with 15. Williams scored eight, Fiso three, Goucher two and Santos two.
Brittany added 12 rebounds and nine blocks to her effort for the Lady Rams, who ran their overall record to 20-1.
Megan Huff scored 28 points and hauled down 13 rebounds for the Titans (17-4).
West Central District action is set to begin Tuesday, Feb. 12, when Mt. Rainier will host the No. 3 team from the Greater St. Helens League in Southwest Washington. Todd Beamer hosts Gig Harbor the same night.
