Man swinging chainsaw
Several people called police to report a man swinging a chainsaw around. Police arrived at the South 13600 Street block and 3rd Avenue South to find a man walking down the middle of the roadway swinging a running chainsaw. Deputies were able to take the man into custody without incident. No injuries were reported. He was booked into SCORE jail for unlawful carrying of a dangerous weapon.

Woman arrested after stealing patrol car
A woman was arrested for allegedly stealing a King County sheriff’s deputy’s patrol car then crashed it. This happened in the area of 1st Avenue South and Southwest 132nd Street in Burien. Deputies were responding to a 911 call of suspicious activity. When deputies arrived a woman jumped into one of the patrol cars and took off. She made it about 30 seconds before crashing it. Then, she tried to flee on foot but was apprehended shortly after. Police did not say what the woman crashed into and no injuries were reported.
