Attempted armed robbery results in crash and discharge
According to the SeaTac Police, an attempted armed robbery of a man driving a vehicle resulted in the crashing of the vehicle and firing of a weapon. The incident took place just before 8pm on March 21st at the Olympic View Apartments in SeaTac when a man attempted to leave the apartment complex’s back parking lot in his pickup truck. The victim reported that as he was backing out of a parking space, a man he believed to be an associate of a friend, entered his vehicle on the passenger side. The suspect threatened the victim with a handgun but the victim attempted to fight the suspect off in the close quarters of the truck’s cab. During the struggle the handgun was fired but failed to strike either party. The struggle came to an abrupt ending when the vehicle crashed into a retaining wall behind the original parking space. Once the truck came to a stop, both the suspect and the victim fled the vehicle with the victim notifying the police via cell phone. The victim did not sustain any serious injury during the attempted robbery. Police have not released further information about the suspect in the case.

Woman calls police after mistaking fish oil on Chinese food for urine
A Burien woman dining at the Tung Kee Mi Gia Chinese restaurant that opened in north Burien in late 2013 called the police after she suspected cooks of serving her urine with her meal on the evening of March 17th. The victim insisted that police come to the restaurant on the corner of 16th Avenue S.W. and 112th Street to investigate the suspicious sauce she had been served. Upon arriving on the scene, police quickly discovered that what the victim believed to be a small cup of urine, was actually a small cup of fish oil. Despite having no evidence to substantiate her urine claims, the woman insisted the fish oil be tested. Police report zero urine findings.
