Highline rose up to knot the Lancers in Thursday's action at the Starfire complex in Tukwila.
Track and field
Kennedy-Hazen
The Kennedy Catholic boys posted an 89-47 victory over the Highlanders on Thursday as the girls took an 87-63 defeat.
Foster-Highline
Foster swept Thursday's rain and wind-soaked meet at Highline Memorial Stadium, winning the boys action by an 82-48 score and the girls by a 74-19 score.
Evergreen-Tyee-Renton
Renton posted a 99-38 boys victory compared to Evergreen Tuesday and won, 115-22, over the Totems.
On the girls side, Renton was a 118-19 winner over the Wolverines and topped Tyee, 115-22.

Boys lacrosse
Kennedy 11, Seattle Prep 10
Ashton Pieris netted four goals and added two assists as Kennedy Catholic got its fourth win of the spring with an 11 – 10 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Seattle Prep at Foster High School in Tukwila.
Goaltender Charles Bergseth had eight saves in the Lancers win.
Kennedy Catholic (4-5-0) next faces Seattle Academy (5-2-0), Tuesday, April 22 in a 7 p.m. start at Upper Genesee Park in Seattle. Seattle Prep (7-3-0) next faces Lakeside (3-3-0), Thursday, May 1 in a 7:15 p.m. start at Lower Woodland Park #7 in Seattle.
Girls lacrosse
Overlake 19, Kennedy 3
Back in action after an ankle injury sidelined her for the first half of the season, Overlake School goaltender Emma Howard had two key saves as the Owls powered to a 19 – 3 girls high school lacrosse win over Kennedy Catholic, Wednesday at the Overlake School in Redmond.
Overlake put up 13 first-half goals then cruised with six in the final set to secure its third win of the spring.Howard, along with Cassie Moore, combined for five saves, while sisters Allie and Katie Hill combined for 12 goals on the afternoon.
Ashley Cusack led the way for Kennedy with two goals.
Overlake (3-2-0) next faces Stadium (2-2-0), Monday, April 21 in a 6 p.m. start at Stadium High School in Tacoma. Kennedy Catholic (4-4-0) next faces Mercer Island (3-4-0), Tuesday, April 29 in an 8 p.m. start at Mercer Island High School.

Girls lacrosse
Puyallup 16, Southwest Seattle 2
Sandy Roscelli and Kaylee baker each netted hat tricks as Puyallup cruised to a 16 – 2 girls high school lacrosse defeat of SW Seattle, Tuesday at Mosier Field in Burien.
The squad of girls from Puyallup School District high schools put up 10 goals in the first, while the combined squad of student-athletes from West Seattle High School along with Highline and Federal Way High Schools managed just a single goal.
In the second Puyallup took off again scoring six while SW managed just another single score.
Rachael Swanstrom and Kirsten Hauke handled the scoring for the SW Seattle squad.
Puyallup (5-1-0) next faces Mukilteo (1-4-1) Friday April 18 in an 8:30 p.m. start at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo. SW Seattle (1-3-0) next faces Mercer Island (3-4-0), Monday, April 21 in a 7:45 p.m. start at Mosier Park in Burien.

Tyler Fox tossed a one-hit shutout for the Warriors in Tuesday's win, striking out 10 in seven innings and walking none.
Alex Evenson, meanwhile, hit 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI and Kyle Bannister hit 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Tyler Solemsaas hit 2-for-4 with two RBI Tuesday as Em hit 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

The Pirates lost one Tuesday to Lindbergh.

Jordan Cossette hit 4-for-4 with four runs and four RBI for the Lancers in Tuesday's win as Nikki Miller hit 2-for-2 with a triple, three runs and two RBI and Samantha Isernio hit 1-for-1 with a double, one run and one RBI.
Lia Conrath won on the mound, allowing only two hits and striking out one in the three inning ballgame.

Seattle Prep towered above the Wolverines in a non-league game Tuesday.
Mt. Rainier 5, Aub.-Riverside 4
Jasmine Fullmore amassed 18 strikeouts in seven innings and allowed only four hits and one walk in Tuesday's win at Auburn's Game Farm Park. She also hit 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Mariah Peterson hit 1-for-3 with a home run, one run and one RBI.
