28 Year Old Seattle Man Killed in Burien Collision

At about 12:35 A.M. on May 8, a 28 year old Seattle man died from injuries sustained during a collision at SW 130th ST and 2 AV SW in Burien.
The driver, in an Acura sedan, was driving east on SW 130 ST crossing the intersection of 4th AV SW when his vehicle bottomed out in the intersection. The driver lost control of his vehicle as it left the roadway and collided with a light pole. The vehicle continued its course to his a large, parked construction truck and trailer making the sedan begin to roll. As the vehicle rolled, it then hit a power pole breaking it into several pieces.
The car’s roof was crushed due to the vehicle’s rolling, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The Seattle man sustained fatal injuries from the collision.
The King County Sheriff’s Office major accident reconstruction detectives are investigating the collision and the King County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man and provide cause of death.
