Seattle Central stole the show against South Highline National Wednesday.

National scored six times in the top of the sixth and final inning to break a 4-4 tie and lead 10-4, but Seattle scored seven times in the bottom half of the frame to wrest away an 11-10 win.

Seattle advanced to Saturday's 10 a.m. championship game of the age 9-10 District 7 Little League tournament with the victory, while knocking National into the loser's bracket final to be played at 10 a.m. Friday.
National needs to win that game against West Seattle or Rainier to earn a trip to championship play, then would have to beat Seattle two games in a row on Saturday.

"We're going to have to win three in a row to make it to state," said National manager Chad Parker. "It's tough to do."

Tuesday's loss at the Pac West complex where the tournament is being played was tough to take.

"It's terrible," Parker said. "We didn't come ready to play the whole game. It's tough, but it's a lot of pressure for kids."
Also tough to take for National was a call with two outs and only three Seattle runs in the sixth in.

Finn Konsmo of Seattle lofted a fly ball to center and Nate Korahais tagged up on third and came in quickly.

It looked like it might be too quickly, but an appeal at third was denied to allow the run to count and leave only two outs on the scoreboard.

Jamison Saxton of Seattle then drew a walk to reload the bases and Yemoni Bradley-Howell blasted a three-run double into deep right center to win it.

National had been celebrating a big double of its own in the top of the inning.

With the bases loaded Evan Humphries launched a two-run double to center to make it 9-4 at the time.

National scored six runs in all in the inning to make it 10-4, with Andy Perovich, Peter Hollabaugh and Jordan Anderson all contributing singles to the rally.

National opened the game with three in the top of the first.
Saverio Desimone was thrown out at third trying to stretch a double into a triple for the second out, but Perovich followed with a double down the right-field line.

Hollabaugh then hit into a dropped popup and went to second on a passed ball.

Tate Parker followed with a two-run single, advanced to second on another passed ball, and scored on a base hit by Mason Hayes.

Seattle answered with three in the bottom of the inning, then National scored one in the top of the fourth when Hayes tripled over the center fielder's head and scored on an outfield error.

Seattle once again answered National, scoring one in the bottom of the inning.

The wild sixth inning where Seattle answered National in a big way then settled the matter.
