Man fleeing arrest on stolen motorcycle dies in chase
A man fleeing from deputies of the King County Sheriff’s Department was pronounced dead on the scene after crashing at high speeds. The incident took place on the evening of Thursday, March 5th, when deputies attempted to arrest a suspect on a number of outstanding warrants. Upon approach the suspect spotted police and fled on what was later discover to be a stollen motorcycle. After entering the White Center neighborhood of unincorporated King County at speeds up to 100 mph, the suspect hit a dip in the road and lost control of the cycle before slamming into the back of a pickup truck. Emergency responders attempted to revive the man and performed CPR but he was pronounced dead on the scene. The suspect’s identity and the nature of his warrants have yet to be released.
