The Highline Public Schools Scholar-Athlete program. in partnership with the Highline Schools Foundation, supports the post-secondary academic goals of outstanding student-athletes and honors the contributions of outset anding coaches and community members. Local businesses, service clubs and individual sponsors make this program possible through their generous support.

Sixteen student-athletes, two boys and two girls from Evergreen, Highline, Mount Rainier and Tyee received scholarships of at least $1,000.

Nominees are selected by the coaching staff at each school. They must have a 3.2 or better cumulative grade average, played at least two sports their senior year, served the community as a volunteer and displayed outstanding leadership skills.
