This photo, which was posted to the KCSO's twitter page, shows a deputy's cruiser pinned against another deputy's SUV by the suspect's stolen vehicle.
Update 11:30 p.m.:
The story is now as follows:
At 8:20 p.m. two sheriff's deputies observed a stolen car with a 17-year-old suspect inside it. They approached the car and asked the teen to exit. He refused and then drove off.
A short chase ensued with the two officers' vehicles blocking in the suspect's car near 208th and 32 Ave. S.
Again the deputies got out of their cars and approached the suspect's car, demanding he get out.
At that point the suspect reversed his car and struck a deputy's vehicle, pushing it into the deputy. The other officer at the scene feared for his partner's life and fired two shots at the suspect hitting him in the head.
Despite earlier reports the suspect did not attempt to fire on the deputies.
Neither deputy was injured during the incident.
The suspect is currently at Harborview Medical Center. His status is still unknown at this time.
Update 10:47 p.m.:
It has been confirmed that the suspect is a 17-year-old male who was shot in the head by sheriff's deputies. The suspect is currently at Harborview Medical Center. His condition has not yet been released.
No deputies were injured during the incident.
According to the King County Sheriff's Office the suspect attempted to ram a deputies vehicle before the shots were fired.
Update 10:09 p.m.:
It is being reported that one man was taken away by an ambulance with the Kent Fire Department with a gunshot wound to the head. His condition is still unknown.

The King County Sheriff's Office is reporting that about an hour ago, at around 8:20 p.m., officers were involved in a shooting near the 20800 block of 32 Ave. S.
At this time all that is known is that the deputies were attempting to pull over a suspect in a stolen car. A short chase ensued ending with the suspect attempting to shoot at the deputies. The officers returned fire.
The suspect was shot and injured and is currently at a local hospital. His condition is unknown.
It is also unknown at this time whether any officers were injured by the suspect's gunfire.
