Shirle Mae FALK

Shirle passed away July 5, 2015, in Des Moines, Washington. Shirle was born on February 18, 1928, in Jamestown, North Dakota, the daughter of Della and Paul Fritz.
She graduated from Tacoma Community College, majoring in accounting and became a successful credit union manager. Later in her career she was granted membership in the National Association of Credit Union Executives and was one of the first women to be granted this significant professional recognition.
In her youth, Shirle married her high school sweetheart, Richard Falk, and this happy couple lived together for more than 70 years. The couple raised three daughters, Lisa, Sherri and Richel. In her retirement years the couple participated in social and performance dancing and enjoyed traveling on cruise ships with their dance friends.
Shirle is survived by husband Richard, Sherri Falk and Richel Falk. Her family would like to express its appreciation to the staff at Judson Park senior living community in Des Moines for their excellent and kind care of Shirle in her later years.
Memorial services will be held at Judson Park in Des Moines on August 12, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Remembrances may be made through a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
