Four injured in I-5 crash in Tukwila
A 20-year-old Burien woman may be facing vehicular assault charges after crashing a car on I-5 in Tukwila. The crash took place in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 23rd, when the Burien woman, driving a 1996 Mercedes with three passengers, failed to make a turn and crashed the car into a tree on the side of the interstate.  The passengers, one aged 20 and the other two aged 22, along with the driver, were all transported by emergency responders to Valley Medical Center in Kent with severe but non life-threatening injuries. State Patrol reports on the crash indicate that troopers believe that drugs and alcohol were involved and that they will likely charge the driver with vehicular assault. The official cause of the accident and charges for the driver are currently pending.
