Football
Kennedy Catholic will kick off its football season Friday, playing in the Ballard Jamboree at 4 p.m.
The Highline Public Schools Jamboree follows at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Mount Rainier, Evergreen and Highline doing battle at Highline Memorial.
Pros
Seahawks
Seattle pays a 5 p.m. visit to San Diego on Saturday as it continues exhibition play.
The action can be seen live on Channel 7 TV and heard on 710 AM.
Mariners
The Seattle Mariners wrap up their current homestand Wednesday, hosting the Oakland A's for 12:40 p.m. action at Safeco Field.
Seattle then goes to Chicago for four games against the White Sox.
Games start at 5:10 p.m. Thursday and Friday followed by a 4:10 p.m. game Saturday and an 11:10 a.m. contest Sunday.
From there it's on to Houston for 5:10 p.m. action Monday and Tuesday.
Mariners games are carried on the ROOT Sports cable television network and 710 AM radio.
Rainiers
Tacoma is in its final homestand of the year at Cheney Stadium.
The Rainiers host the Memphis Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, before the Nashville Sounds come to Tacoma for 7:05 p.m. action Thursday, Friday and Saturday and for a 1:35 p.m. game Sunday.
Tacoma visits Salt Lake City at 6:05 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Rainiers action can be heard on 850 AM and seen on MiLB cable.
Sounders
Seattle is in Tegucigalpa, Honduras playing C.D. Olimpia in a 7 p.m. match Wednesday before the Portland Timbers come to town for a 2 p.m. clash Sunday.
ESPN will carry Sunday's action live, with Sounders radio coverage on 97.3 FM and 1360 AM.
Storm
The Seattle women's basketball team is at home in the KeyArena playing the San Antonio Stars at 7 p.m.
Friday before the Washington Mystics come to town at 6 p.m. Sunday.
NBA TV will carry Friday's action live and KONG TV will show Sunday's.
Reign
Seattle's women's professional soccer team is at home at Seattle Memorial Stadium playing Boston at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Sky Blue FC at the same time Saturday.
Emerald Downs
Friday horse racing action in Auburn gets underway at 6:45 p.m. followed by 2 p.m. starting times Saturday and Sunday.
