Millan, Evergreen land top soccer awards

Eduardo Millan of Highline was honored as the Coach of the Year and Evergreen took home the Sportsmanship award in Seamount League girls soccer this year.
Kennedy Catholic won the league championship, meanwhile, and Renton senior Asia Brisco was named as the Athlete of the Year.
Joining Brisco on the first team as forwards were Highline senior Karen Orellana, Hazen senior Taylor Lenton and Lindbergh freshman Thao Nguyen.
The first team midfield consists of Foster sophomore Dara Araya, Kennedy senior Kit Bruner, Highline junior Mary Loy, Renton sophomore Olivia Carter and Hazen freshman Madison Kem.
Making the first team as defenders were Kennedy senior Ashley Cusack, Highline senior Kerie McNeal, Lindbergh sophomore Kiana DeJesus, Hazen junior Isis Hatcher and Hazen junior Kierra Lim.. while the first team goalikeeper is Hazen senior Brittany Dinkins.
Kennedy sophomore Jaclyn Seifert earned the second team goalie position, with the second team defense consisting of Kennedy junior Maddy Spardy, Kennedy sophomore Lauren Shoemaker, Kennedy sophomore Claire Varden, Highline junior Angelina Ottolino and Hazen freshman Anna Browne.
Making the second team midfield were Kennedy sophomore Kalina Cordero, Highline sophomore Brittney Kinney, Lindbergh senior Marcela Cardona, Lindbergh freshman Dana Rin and Hazen junior Amy Warmenhoven.
The second team forwards are Evergreen senior Melissa Resendiz, Tyee senior keyara Brooks, Kennedy sophomore Bailey Hall and Hazen freshman Madison Taylor.
Earning honorable mention from Evergreen were sophomore defender Janet Torres, freshman defender Hieu Hoang, junior midfielder Cimmeron Johal and freshman midfielder Alice Loreo, while the Tyee selections for honorable mention were freshman defender Elma Sacic, freshman midfielder Mariana Aguiniga and freshman midfielder Jace Collier.
Honorable mention picks from Kennedy were sophomore midfielder Cameryn MacKenzie, freshman midfielder Taryn Mendez and freshman forward Julie Trejo, while the choices from Highline were junior goalkeeper Makenna Hadaller, junior defender Lilian Orellana, freshman midfielder Natasha Maharaj and sophomore forward Corrisa Stoneback.
Fpster choices were junior goalkeeper Lwam Woldemariam, sophomore defender Zen Kop, junior defender Kiana Olebar, senior midfielder Rebecca Huai, junior forward Boe Meh and sophomore forward K.K. Alamerew.
Honorable mention choices from Lindbergh were senior goalkeeper Elly Chambers, junior defender Zhane Spates, sophomore defender Valerie Yarington, junior midfielder Morgan Earl and freshman forward Maryneil Farrelll.
Picks from Renton were freshman defender Daniela Gonzalez, junior midfielder Kyrian Brichoux, freshman midfielder Ashley Thapa and freshman forward Hannah Malkin.
Chosen from Hazen was freshman midfielder Meagan Kelly.
